Thank you for the Valentine - I ordered the whole digital back catalogue of that crazy, fantastic label for a frankly ridiculously small amount. You, and they, rock 🖤
Thanks for this review. You might also try "Bouquet," from 1999, with Hooker, Ranaldo, and turntablist Christian Marclay--nicely propulsive and flowing, relatively low-key.
And glad to see you're reading Against the Day! For me, this is Pynchon's masterpiece, and it doesn't nearly get the love and attention it deserves. Hope you're enjoying it.

It's an embarrassment of riches!

I am ADORING Against the Day. Thanks for the Bouquet recommendation, I'll definitely check that out.
This was a great listen. Big fan of Lee's solo stuff. His record "Dirty Windows" scratches the same "Lee listing things" itch!
I was hoping this was you! I haven't listened to Dirty Windows yet, must check that out soon.
Home run as always, 10/10, no notes.
🙏
How is Against the Day?
Pretty brilliant. If you're at all curious about it, I recommend just going for it.
This is brilliant. Definitely pre-ordering that William Hooker thing.
Yes! That's what I love to hear.
Quick question:
Will you attend SXSW in March?
A bit late but no, I am not!
